Copyright and Licensing
Copyright Ownership
For all articles published by Kelajak International Group, copyright remains with the authors. Authors retain full ownership of their work and do not transfer copyright to the publisher.
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which permits:
  • free downloading and sharing
  • reuse, adaptation, and distribution
  • commercial and non-commercial use
  • translation and modification
This is allowed as long as proper credit is given to the original authors.
The CC BY 4.0 license ensures maximum dissemination, visibility, and academic impact of the authors’ work while maintaining full attribution.

Exceptions to Standard Licensing
In special cases, articles may be published under a different open-access license.
If authors are bound by specific funder requirements or institutional mandates that do not allow the CC BY 4.0 license, they must inform the Editorial Office at the time of submission.
Alternative licensing arrangements will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Permissions for Reproducing Third-Party Material
Authors are responsible for securing the necessary permissions to reproduce any copyrighted material that:
  • is not in the public domain, or
  • is not owned by the authors.
This includes:
  • figures, illustrations, and images
  • tables or charts
  • extended text excerpts
  • previously published data or graphics
Permissions must be obtained from the original copyright holder, which is usually the publisher of the earlier work.
When permission is granted, authors must follow the attribution format requested by the copyright holder.
If no specific wording is provided, the following standard acknowledgment should be used:
“Reproduced with permission from [Author], [Journal Title]; published by [Publisher], [Year], [Reference Number].”
This acknowledgment should be included at the end of the table or figure caption.
To prevent publication delays, authors are encouraged to begin requesting permissions as early as possible during manuscript preparation.
When submitting the manuscript, all permission documents must be uploaded together with the submission files.
